Live from the Re-Imagined Disney Wonder...A Day in Cozumel 11-16-16

What a great day in Cozumel!  The sun was shining, although I do have to say it was windy compared to four days ago.  Kinda made for a bad hair day!

Had a relaxing morning on the ship and then a group of us were going to a local Mexican restaurant off the beaten path called La Choza.  It is about 4 blocks in from the street along the waterfront and about 6-8 blocks down.  They must be pretty well known, as I was posting live on Facebook, the location services knew where I was at to “check-in” on.  I had the shrimp tacos.  They were delicious.  However, may I forewarn you that if you don’t like onions to order your food without them, as they put lots and lots of onions on their items.  The fish tacos were also pretty popular.  The guacamole was delicious.

I was declared to be the designated walker of the group (LOL) since I was the one not drinking.

Everyone else was having margaritas.  They were huge and from what I heard lots of alcohol.  After everyone had at least two, I could see why they designated me to get them back to the ship.  Good thing we did not make a stop at Senor Frog’s on the way to the Wonder.

This is what Chuck and Janice looked like after drinking when we left the restaurant LOL

And, this is Chuck and Leslie (friends we were with) who just had to stop and take pictures with this lady!

We made it back to the ship safely around 3 p.m. and then headed up to deck for the Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday Party with Mickey and the gang.  It is held at the Goofy pool and lasts about 30 minutes.  There are many songs and lots of dancing going on along with a conga line.

We stayed an hour later in Cozumel due to our late arrival, so we had a beautiful sunset as we were sailing away.

Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic was showing in the Walt Disney Theater at 6:15 p.m.  The actress who sings in the Lion King segment must have been sick, because I got to experience listening to a male actor sing the role.  Had never experienced that before, but he had an excellent voice and was able to carry it off.

Tonight dinner was in Animator’s with the Drawn to Magic show.  This is a not to miss show, especially with the new technology in the restaurant.

Next it was Match Your Mate in Azure with Jo as club host.  As always, it was hysterical.  Every time I see this show there is always something new that just have you in stitches laughing so hard.  Some of the answers guests come up with just amaze me, and of course sometimes they are R rated and definitely not something I could put in my blog!

After Match Your Mate there was Live Music with The Brace Boys (who are also the performers in Tiana’s Restaurant.)  They are a must see and are very enjoyable to sit and listen to.  I could have listened for hours, but it is after midnight and need to head back to the room and type the blog and see what movies are on the tv.  I always end up watching a movie late at night.

So, that is it from the day at Cozumel.  Here is the Daily Navigator for the day.

Enjoy and goodnight from the Disney Wonder.
